Food Storage

I love food storage and emergency preparedness.  I like peace of mind and especially as the mom and you are 'in charge' of all these little bodies I want to be ready.  Mental note, maybe I should fill those water barrels I've had for years!!!! doh!

My friend Laurie just started a blog and its awesome!!!!!
Super practical, funny and looks great!  I love the pictures.

The only problem with it is I couldn't see where to comment on it, to tell her how awesome it is…will go look again.

Check it out

She is just doing this out of the goodness of her heart so check it out and learning something.

I'm so jealous she has a pressure canner and canned meat!  That has intimidated me.  Makes me want to dust off my water bath and can something.

Either way, when the big earthquake comes we know whose house to go to, and she can charge us a million dollars to feed us :)  I wonder if she would trade for jewelry?

Thanks for the shout-out, Brooke! Wordpress is a bit weird in that you need to click on the blog post title to comment on the post. :)

And, if you ever want to can meat, come on over! I'll let you use my pressure canner. I did a little more chicken tonight, and I'm going to try my hand at canning beans next week.
