Life hurts
Out playing at Luke's practice. Darby fell off her bike going fast on a dirt road. The worst skinned knees I have seen poor thing. Couldnt be consoled. so we had luke leave early and went home . Nothing worse than hearing her wash it off, especially since i know how tough she is. And then 30 minutes later she was bouncing off the walls. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't have seen it.

ouch! our street was gravel when I was a kid and I had lots of nasty knees like that and had to pick the gravel out. My kids are rather wimpy and think they are dying if they see one little drop of blood. lol
Poor Darby! I know that had to hurt, especially washing it.
Oh my gosh that looks so awful!!! Ouch. And why do I love that you know how to make balloon animals? Of course you do!!
ooohhhh! I've totally been there with Kate but for a kid with regular skin thats pretty brutal. Glad she seemed to bounce back, I'm sure they will be sore for a few days, my knees ache just looking at the pic.
Yikes! That is bad!
