My Baylie is 4 years old
This morning, at 6:45 a.m. a newly four year old girl was beside my bed waking me saying, 'Mom, I see my presents." I opened my eyes and she was already dressed....Baylie is definitely excited to turn 4! Plus its spring break so her siblings get to party with her all day.
She loved turning into a 'bunny' at her birthday party. Last nite at dinner, she said the prayer, "Dear Heavenly Father, please bless that Nana will stay forever." This is the second year Nana has been here on her birthday, just by luck, and we love it.
Baylie requested an Easter party, with rainbow cupcakes. We ate donuts off a string (no hands), played duck duck, bunny and had an egg hunt. The kids bounced on the new trampoline and the girls even 'surfed' down the grass on boogie boards, which was pretty adventurous of them for that age. Baylie also opened presents faster than I've seen. The wind is up today and one piece of tissue paper flew up high in the sky, went over the hill (if you've been to my house) and stuck on a very high pine tree at my neighbors a few lots away. Thankfully, the sun was out.
No requests for breakfast or dinner, but I think she has eaten candy all day...and toast for breakfast. Oh yes, and we've already watched Tangled.
