Time to Fly

Almost packed, leaving in the morning. This is going to be an adventure. I'm going to miss Jason tons. Don't think we've ever been apart this long before. Just found out my grandpa went into the hospital, my grandma is a patient a different hospital. Will pray for them and me tomorrow.

Particularly impressed with traveling outfits I picked out for the kids. My sister gave me a hot tip to dress the kids in the same color or a bright color to keep track of them easier. So the girls will have their supergirl shirts on and Luke just happens to have a blue shirt of the exact same color. Plus Paisley has her supergirl blanket and new supergirl shirt too. Sure to give the other passengers lots to gawk at. Its okay, just means we are channeling our superman dad. And hopefully some super powers.

Wish us luck. I'll try to take a picture :)

Can't wait to see my brother. Here is what he sent in an email today.

Stressed is desserts spelled backwards.

Good luck - haven't done it with 4 kids before. Just 1; my advice - comandeer (spelling?) as much space as you can on the plane and do not care what other passengers feel. You can do this!

good tip. my kids all wore their alabama sweatshirts when i flew with them to hong kong last year. that was right after they won the national title so the kids got a lot of comments. well from americans. it went well for such a long trip. good luck!

It is seriously awesome you are doing this - you all will remember this trip forever. So cool! ENJOY! But you didn't mention what superhero shirt you're wearing!?!?

you do have super kids! that is one of the things i get from the Church, you know that spiritual things are beyond anything any fantasy story describes. i'm like, hey kid, you like wolverine, go on a mission, you will do much cooler things than wolverine. i stole that quote. love ya'll, sad i only get to see ya'll one weekend.
