Sass

Did you ever braid your hair before you went to bed so that you could have it like this in the morning? We did. The girls.

When you first take it out it is bumpy heaven. perfect for sliding your hand over. And a bit coo coo crazy.

but its my new solution for not having to comb out Darby's queen rats nest in the morning. and she loves it.

MEET Miss Sass.

This is her naughty face. When you do something she doesn't like. It is not my favorite to see, but at least she is learning that its not very vice.

What big sister does, little sister has to do too. Even if she detests getting her hair combed in order to braid it.

She got the first church dress she was wearing covered in peanut butter, so here is what her dad put her in. Its 18 months and like giving her creases on her arms cause its so tight. poor girl. she wore it anyway. it was like a tea cup cause it was too short too.

this is her sweet girl face.

On side note, I'm very tired. Very tired.

And my kids goobled up my dinner, which always makes me happy. it was steak though so just means they have good taste right? and corn on the cob and baked potatoes. with lots of milk. luke thought it was the first time he's had it...we are more like chicken and ground beef people. their mama is cheap.

tomorrow is the first day of school for luke, monday for darby. Luke got in a 1st grade/2nd grade split class, don't know how I feel about that, but it is what it is. He just wants to know how many boys are in there with him.

When I was in the 5th grade, I was in a 4th/5th split class. That same year, Christy was in the 3rd grade and in a 3rd/4th split class. I guess they didn't want to put 3rd and 5th graders together, so they split a 4th grade class up. I don't remeber there being any problems with it. I'm sure it's hard on the teacher.

I can't believe how big your kids are getting - and it hasn't been that long since you moved!
And, I always wanted to do my hair like that, but it never worked.

I love that hair!! They look like models! Good idea. D & B now want hair like that. Let us know what happens with Luke's class.
