Nectar Collector

Grandma and Grandpa McCoy are in town. Which means we've played the Bee Game and read lots of books. And heard Gpa talk like Donald Duck. And worked and sorted. Grandpa cleaned out my car....discovered a million cherrios in hidden places. The best part is that Jason took off work today.

Miss B's birthday is on Friday. We got her a big girl car seat yesterday. I am shocked that I needed one and can't remember what I did when Darby was this age. Not good.

Just in case you forgot what I looked like. All natural. We had a scare with D yesterday. Like a lifetime worth of scares where I thought she was outside with the g-parents and while I inside with the other two cooking dinner. She had gone to the front and by the time I figured it out some people were carryng her (fortunately they had three small children with them and turned out to be very nice) and asked if I knew this little girl. I'm emotionally drained from it all...still tired. I'm bringing them cookies today...the break apart kind...does that still count?

Luke...

We have been struggling together this girl and I. She is dying to tell me something I just know it.
And thanks dad for pitying me and lending me your camera via Fed Ex. I owe you.
And we love the puzzles. Darby is a puzzling fool.

Oh Brooke, I thought I lost Kate at church a few weeks ago and after I found her someone said "now you know what Mary felt like" so now you do, I'm so glad she's O.K., super scary for sure.

Brooke you are a babe! Thanks for posting a pic of yourself--I almost forgot what you looked like. :) Sounds like a fun week with the grandparents in town. Tell miss B Happy Birthday from her aunt Ali

Brooke-You got me thinking about swimming suits, and I ran across a blog at roomsomewhere.blogspot.com. She has some cute suggestions. Urban outfitters and Jcrew. I looked and they have some good ones, don't know about the support though.

I am glad you found your girl...that would have been a little scary! It looks like you are having fun with the grandparents. Tell your Dad thanks for sending you his camera because we were having Mccoy pic withdrawls...he is a good guy. We miss you all.

I was pregnant with Micah when I realized Payton ran out the front door and accross the street. I was super big running out there as a car was coming real fast down the street. I know how emotionally draining and scary that can be. So sorry. I bet it's nice to have visitors and Jason around to break up the monotony. (Is that how you spell it?)

That is awesome he cleaned out your car. Does he want to come to my house next? That is freaky about Darby. When stuff like that happens here, I just know there are angels watching out for them. Love the picts of ou guys.

Morgan got out at Mel's house one time and no one knew it. By the time they realized it, a woman had stopped her car(from hitting Morgan) and was walking her up to the house. I understand your emotional scarring.

I'm so glad you have picture capabilities again. You and your kids are too cute. When I read that about Darby, I thought about Morgan getting in the road like Amber said. What she left out is that Mel was living on Woodland at the time, just a block down from Fortner. That's a pretty busy stretch of road. Very scary.

how frightening. even if i don't know where my kids are for just a second it scares the crap out of me and i feel sick thinking about what could happen if i don't find them. usually they are in the house or yard somewhere and once tristan hid from us in the church. we looked for what seemed like a long time. we were about to call police or something. then i tried to calm myself and be rational and said a little prayer in my heart and something told me to look more carefully in the primary room and i found him hiding inside the pulpit. i was so glad and upset with him for doing that. i was in tears. he was confused why his game made me cry. we had a good talking to with our kids after that.
last night SLC police found a 7 yr old girl that had been missing for a day dead in the neighbors apt. makes me want to vomit. cory put the chain up high on the front door for me. we'd been meaning to put one on.
