411 mccoys

Brushing up on some parenting tips. Giving choices, getting perspective, trying to yes as much as you can (yes you can play the wii after you have done your chores & homework), I read this book when I had 2 and 3 kids and interesting to go thru it now.
I really need a weekend to myself to read and learn and organize but we mothers have to do it in the cracks and crannies of the day . Five minutes is better than nothing. Right now it's in my bathroom which is where I hide to reboot for a few minutes when I need to.

Mostly cause this room is real and also a metaphor for my life ;)

Had the best surprise on Friday. Surprises are pretty awesome. Can you guess who it's from?
She knows me well. With a sweet note with it. Next year will be so weird when she is in college .

Baylie got a smile out of me when I saw her face like this.

Saturday we went to Lindsey's . Hadn't been there since June.
Always fun and they got a puppy! We are in love. The kids swam the whole time, I think I'm gonna start digging a pool in my backyard.

This is what I caught at 3:09 pm today when we need to start leaving to pick up kids. Ivy watching paisley sleep. Jason doesnt love paisley sucking her thumb. this might be ivy's most awesome hair-do to date.

So cute that Ivy was watching Paisley sleep. Mel's younger girls would've woke the other one up. Love Bailey's bedazzeled face!
