Pretty Ivy

Here are pictures of little baby Ivy when she was freshly born at the hospital. Literally less than a 24 hours old because we only stayed there about 26 hours after she was born (24 is required and the other two were us ready and waiting to be checked out).

My how hospital pictures have upgraded. And wouldn't this be a fun job?

Nursing is going well, surprisingly well. Lots easier than the last time I did it. So wonderful having my mom here although I'm starting to get nervous for when she leaves, I know we will survive, just not in the awesome quality of life of a clean house and meals that she is spoiling me with. Is it too early to cry? Plus, Paisley is in love with her buddy Nana. Who she calls mom. (Paisley also calls Jason mom too and sometimes her siblings if she wants something). My dad comes this weekend, and then fourth of July weekend we are blessing little Ivy, which we hope will be at our house since she is too tiny to bring to church just yet.

Ivy is sleeping pretty great at nite, giving me at a four hour stretch or more. Its very hot here in Cali, the garden is growing, life is great. Especially because I heard a tragic story today that I just can't stop thinking about. Makes me want to hug my kids again, even if they are crabby sometimes.

I don't think I've ever been hungrier...I'm still dreaming about the Krispy Kreme donuts I inhaled at the hospital that my friend Sara brought. Sara whose picture is really cute holding Ivy but I'm 'not allowed to put on my blog'.

I have yet to leave the house. Although I have thought about driving out to Burbank in the middle of the nite for Krispy Kreme but rethought it. Right now my mom is melting (MELTING!) taking my kids to swim lessons at 5:30 p.m. Totally spoiled I know.
Gotta run and go snuggle that cute little baby. Have more pictures to show but got low disk space on my computer that is older than Luke.

It's always hard to have all that help leave. I always cry. Seriously, those hospital pics are way better than they used to be.

How adorable! Cute pictures. I like the blanket. Nursing in the beginning always made me hungry.

Do I need to bring some more donuts? I'm glad nursing is going well. Those pics are cute and that would be a fun job to have. I never got hospital pics because I never liked the "typical" shots you see.

Gorgeous!! Glad nursing is going well. You are a champ! That will be fun to have Dad come and I am going to cry for you too when Mom leaves. Sadie still keeps asking where Nana went:)
