Elevator Music

This is what we've been doing while we've been waiting for the reason that Nana actually came to visit. And guess what, its been a lot. Here's all the memories from Nana's camera.

After and Before pictures. This is what Luke looks like AFTER cubscouts (also probably the greatest hour of his week which he tells me feels like 30 min). Sweaty sweaty sweaty. Hmmm, where does he get that from? Both of us actually, is that TMI? Sorry four daughters, you are gonna sweat like that too, but just not at cubscouts.

Go to the park, check. Beautiful perfect weather, check.




Feed ducks, check. (even if they are fat ducks who didn't want to eat and have bread saturated water from all the other families who have had the same idea)

The reason why I'm not having a baby yet (ok I have no idea, I'm just making this up) is cause I'm not so tired anymore cause Nana is here to help. Which means she has been doing their hair, helping with the dishes (doing them all) and basically I just sit and eat bon bons...ok really I'm probably most in charge of discipline which has been a bit rocky, ya know how those kids like to be all cranky inopportune moments and such. Seriously though, its been nice.



That is it folks, even in the pics of my four children. Paisley officially prefers Nana to me so that is success. First time I went to Home goods, that place rocks. Nana has also hung a bunch of pictures for me and replaced a broken door handle (did I mention she is very handy, seriously did not get that gene) and gone to Lowe's a bunch.

There was something about typing out and rereading how upset I was about not having my baby in the time table that I wanted seem all the more ridiculous. Even if I really was banking on that I would have kids in school for the first few days and worried about wasting my mom's time, and still wonder about babysitting, oh well, what do you do?

So this article snapped me back some perspective. The Atonement covers all pain by Kent F. Richards He quotes Orson F. Whitney "No pain that we suffer, no trial that we experience is wasted. It ministers to our education, to the development of such qualities as patience, faith, fortitude, humility...It is through sorrow and suffering, toil and tribulation, that we gain the education that we come here to acquire." And by here, meaning Earth is what I'm adding.

Really liked it from general conference and since I'm about to voluntarily go through some pain in the next week. Had one of my favorite scriptures "He suffereth the pains of all men, yea, the pains of every living creature, both men, women, and children. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16)

Thats the point of all this church stuff in my opinion. Perspective. Cause sometimes I need to remember in these busy lives of ours what really is important and what are really things to worry about. I'm trying.
