Twisted Sense of Humor

Just read this on facebook from my friend Connie, who I happen to think is very funny. She also now lives in Mexico (but not forever).

Please put this on your status if you know someone (or are related to someone) who has been eaten by Possums. Possums are nearly unstoppable and, in case you didn't know, they can also breathe fire. 93 % of people won't copy and paste this, because they have already been eaten by possums. 6 % of people are sitting in their showers armed with fire extinguishers, and the remaining 1 % are awesome and will repost.

Ahh, just the thing I needed to read while I was blocking out a good portion of my day. Including ruining 9 jars of strawberry jam that I canned (first time canning jam and apparently I suck...I better stick to pickles), which reminded me of the double batch of broccoli and cheddar soup that I had to throw out (cause it tasted barf) last week that still pains me. Apparently I need to stay far away from the kitchen unless I'm just grabbing ice cream from the freezer to console myself. Also did I mention Luke had a baseball game tonite. Not a fan of weekday baseball games with nothing but dirt and grime for the girls to play with. Mostly they just played in this gross stagnant water where they dipped their chalk. No shade, lots of sun, lets just not think about it anymore. Good thing that boy is so cute playing baseball. Fortunately Jason is home and put the kids to bed after a short family home evening where I was still very crabby. Lovely.

To announce the big news in the McCoy house, Darby has her class play tomorrow and I don't think there is a more excited girl on the planet. Thankfully I just found my camera charger. She is Mrs. Frog in the production of Wide Mouth Frog and if you ask me, I will sing you a few songs that she taught to me, I'm quite good.

I would love to see pictures/video from her play. It sounds darling. kid sports are soo hard if you have other children I think, and growing a child at the same time!! Good job for taking him and you have every reason to be crabby:)!
