Pinkalicious

Let me tell you where Paisley and Jason did not go. To the Pinkalicious play in Santa Monica (thanks Hillary for the headsup on it). But the rest of us enjoyed a great matinee musical of one of our favorite books...Pinkalicious. The play was all children and they were amazing...seriously maybe the benefits of being in LA? It was cheaper than a movie and gave my kids their first taste, because I love plays, specifically musicals. One day I will take them to the Wicked and then the ultimate best, Les Miserables...

Yes Luke wanted to go, it wasn't a big issue. I asked him and he said yes. He likes the book too, plus remember thats what I was for Halloween two years ago when everyone thought I was a tomato?

Photo by Baylie. So Jason and Paisley stayed home together for half the day Saturday and I came home to a cleaner house, not bad.

But did my kids sit with me? Not Baylie, she sat with Jackie the whole time, her preferred friend. Baylie did okay there, but by the end she was crying and tired and wanted to go home.

It was so nice to be with the 'big kids' alone and so I forced them into pictures with me. Luke was less willing and getting really 'cool'. They said in a few months they are doing the play based on the book, Mrs. Nelson is Back.

Like this post. That play seems cool even though I lately have considered acting a subtle break of child labor laws. Hopefully you didn't give a hard, time I mean Darby is athlete for having a bro and Luke should get a pass for pinkalicious w his sisters with no hassle
