My Plog or Cheap Entertainment Idea #432

I once heard if your blog is mostly consisting of pictures, what you really have is a plog. So witty.

Anyway, just wanted to document some of Darby's awesome artwork (also known as difference between girls and boys). Also I need to purge so here I'm keeping a little memory of it.

here is a picture Darby drew of our family this summer.

Here is part of Luke's homework he turned in today. (family you can click on the picture if you want to read all the questions and make it bigger)

Notice the very neat penmanship, obviously not from me. My favorite question is #10. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you? Answer = My cousins house. Me too. Although definitely tied with Nana's house.

Darby's picture of a king. On the right, he is holding a regular flower but on the left he is holding a lollipop flower!

This picture was on the reverse side of the King. We don't waste space :)

Maybe a self portrait?

Okay, so on the cheap entertainment. I'd like to try it myself actually. When the baby sleeps, here is what the kids have been doing. (cause babies just destroy stuff like this)

Oh yes, and here is my handsome boy.

Luke wanted to make sure there were lots of pictures of his creation. The paper cups were actually Baylie's idea. And while I first resisted, this has been great.

Yesterday Darby got to take home Jasper from her class. We read a book about Jasper and then drew a picture of what we did with him. She was in heaven.

Baylie is biting her blanket. She loves doing that. She also loves that blanket more than any single thing in her life. I love that it smells like her.

Hope you are having a happy friday. I think I might try and get the kids to watch The Scarlet Pimpernel with me when they get home from school cause it is HOT!

What an artist! I love the pictures. The cup towers were better/bigger than I had imagined-awesome. Handsome picture of Luke.

Derby got skills drawing. Seriously I think she already surpassed my current max art level. And the cup towers pretty cool. Love Luke's answer to recess being fav time. I bet Jason hates seeing baseball. I'm like just remember to be consoling when he eventually realizes he has to choose a mummy job instead of playing baseball.

I love that Luke said his favorite subject at school is Lunch. Too funny. Also, I love the towers. That is a great activity.
