Almost Easter

"The ability to turn everything into something good appears to be a godly characteristic. Our Heavenly Father always seems able to do this. Everything, no matter how dire, becomes a victory to the Lord. Joseph, although a slave and wholly undeserving of this fate, nevertheless remained faithful to the Lord and continued to live the commandments and made something very good of his degrading circumstances. People like this cannot be defeated."

Hartman Rector, Jr. Ensign, Jan 1974, pg 130

Church with small kids is a funny thing. You kinda just get pieces here and there, and some times nothing at all. But this is what I heard on Sunday and I love it.

Here is my handsome husband at the most windy Easter Egg Hunt on earth. Seriously if we were not in CA it would have been a tornado.

I had grand plans for these pictures. But instead they were taken at the end of the day (thank you Daylight Savings), after eating, after naps, after hair had been messed up and bows taken off.

Did I mention that I made the skirts? And ties for Jason and Luke and accessories. Yep, I'm pretty dang proud of myself. Made a new friend out of it too which was a bonus. So if you see my girls living in these skirts, just cause I want to see them before they get outgrown. Plus skirts are made for playing, not sitting in a closet.

I am not fond of church socks with shorts, but good thing that baby is cute.
