Things I am Liking Lately...

This room.

The reason why Luke will be sharing with his baby sister. My dream room.

A guest-craft-peace-and-quiet room. I got the paint for free cause of a Glidden promotion, the chair for $10 on craigslist. The other walls are the famous 'Malted Milk' from Valspar. The art work has been stored in a closet since college and then my kids painted the rest. They loved feeling like little artists. The frames were $4 from Walmart and are already breaking so we'll see how long they last. The blinds are blackout cellular shades that means I don't have to tape a sheet to the wall anymore...sorry Erin, the Kirby's and mom who stayed during the taping the sheet era.

This half naked girl.

This awesome table my sister is loaning me. Why didn't you tell me stainless steel tables were so freaking awesome? You can do anything to it. I just need it bigger and is on my wish list for Jason's to build one day.

I really like my vintage Sunset poster from goodwill for $2.

I like that Luke had a good day at school today...they have been hard to come by...he even used the school bathroom for the first time ever. Wahoo!

I like that Jason went to his first doctor's appt (for this baby) with me today. It was like having my boyfriend there. I liked that he entertained Baylie the whole time too...and that Paisley moved her booty during the non-stress test at the hospital afterward.

I really like my neighbors. I totally scored.

I really would like to eat ice cream for every meal. Especially chocolate. Maybe I will.

Actually, I was there to find out she was a girl! And I'm pretty sure I was at one other early one to see Dr. Kohn. I have known him longer than some friends, after all, and you get a certain relationship with the man who brought all your kids into this world without problem!

But today, even though it was long, was fun to hang out just you and Baylie, plus playing hooky from work is always nice! (although I paid for it when I got in! busy day!)

I like your guest room too, it looks so relaxing and clean, I don't have any of those rooms right now. I didn't notice the table when I was there, Now I am so curious as to what it looks like, is it the same one that was there when I was there...I thought the other one was round, or maybe there were just so many people around it, it made it look round...anyway. Can't wait to see you guys again...How about Saturday!???

I LOVE your orange room and that is so cute that you framed their artwork! I should so do that. That is my favorite chair too in there. So glad Luke had a good day. And that half naked girl looked just like my B today.

I love your room! I have always wanted a guest-craft-peace-and-quiet room. I'm jealous you have one, and one so pretty!

The orange looks great! Things are coming together so well in your new house. Glad Luke had a good day at school. Is everything ok with Paisley?

I"m glad Luke had a good day. That's huge for a first grader. Owen claims he likes his class but asks to stay home with grandma everyday. hmmm. Love your room, too!

I LOVE the orange too. :) Did you buy that chair as is? Or, did you refurbish it? Either way. It's perfect!
