Something I shouldn't be laughing about....

Okay, so this happened two days ago, but I'm still laughing about it....

Every time I read Luke a book I just start chuckling....

BECAUSE ...

When I was reading a highly educational Scooby Doo Health Spa Spook (or something like that)...

the Scooby team was being haunted by past monsters from at this health spa ...

Anywhooo....

One of the monsters who jumped out at Shaggy and the gang was the Witch Doctor, BUT since I have a hard time speaking a proper sentence and prone to get tongue tied, I said Witch with a B.

And Luke, never hearing of that before, half a second later goes, Mom, what is a B---- Doctor?

"I meant Witch Doctor" (laughing hysterically)

"Sorry about that Luke, sometimes Mom says things wrong."

"Mom, why are you laughing?"

"Ohhh, just because I said it wrong."

But really it was just so funny hearing HIM say it wrong too.....

Aahhah....ya, still chuckling about that.

Hope he doesn't figure out what I said for a really long time....

Love the innocence of youth....

Tip of the day: Be very careful when reading Scooby Doo Health Spa Scare...or whatever that book is called...especially that tricky Witch Doctor part.

Shelf Addition: I forgot to say that now the top shelf is adorned with Luke's two trophies...now we are finished :)

That is so funny. Pres got some medicine and we are good. We will stop by if not before...after our trip. Maybe I can get paisley a cool Chinese outfit. I hope Luke wants to take that book to school for show and tell or something. So funny!

That sounds so much like something I would do. I totally mix up my words like that. Pretty funny. Just hope Luke doesn't ask his teacher about what the B - witch thing means and says how his mom said it reading and thought it was funny : )

Keep them innocent as long as you can. My brother called my Mother the B word in the middle of Sacrament Meeting when he was 3. Mel and the neighbor kid thought it was funny to teach him bad words.

haha, these are my favorite lil' kid stories: when they swear innocently or tell embarrassing stories of the family that are supposed to be "secrets." And that's a compliment to you guys as parents and Luke's choice of friends that he doesn't know those swear words yet.
