Goodbye 2008 ...
We partied with the Kirby family. Went to Tito's Tacos in Culver City. I thought it was gross, but was fun to stand with all the people who were obviously excited about some random taco stand. Walked around Westwood and ate Rite Aid ice cream. Do we Mormons know how to party or do we know how to party? Said bye to our friends and now are starting to pack for our road trip.
The kids are asleep and I hope to be asleep by 10 p.m.... We are going to Vegas, Clearfield (never been), Bountiful, and Park City and then a last stop in Hurricane, Utah. We are going to see cousins, a baptism, my grandparents, my mom and some good friends. And Jason's sister Sharla who is fresh off her eighteen month mission to England. All in about six or seven days. Jason has time off and we have no where to be really. Luke doesn't start til the 12th. Can't wait. But wait...14 degrees I hear, maybe not that part. Especially since I wore flip flops and shorts today.
The perfect recipe for New Years Eve-ness...Greasy tacos,
Bad Traffic, Good friends, ice cream...and early bedtimes.
Brief Summary of Santa's loot. Luke's wearing new helemt, sword, spy gear and grabber thing. Very serious five year old boy stuff. Ready to play ...player
Madness Mess of McCoy Mayhem...say five times fast. Madness Mess of ....bla bla bla
Hilarious face of happy girl getting new bear.
Pure bliss of girl receiving fancy princess jewerly box.
Perfect smiling for the doll she does not play with but Santa thought she would really like.
He wins some and loses some, right?
Game cube renamed "XBox" by Luke. Plays favorite game of star wars lego. As my brother said, we have opened Pandoras box with the introduction of video games....
