Somebody tell me some good news

Cause I need to hear some. Because I have mounds and mounds of crap that I created all over my house due to my crazy and recent need 'to create'. But mounds and mounds of craft supplies do not fit in my super small house.

So instead of cleaning the mounds and mounds of crafting crap, I decide to try out a new recipe from Picky Palate (google it) . So I ran to the 99 cent store, which is my close go-to spot to get one last can of diced tomatoes. While there, Baylie threw a glass jar of olives out of the cart and acted perfectly age-appropriate while we were there (mental note: do not take kids to stores)

Then we stopped off at Petco. Just for the heck of it. Which is great except for when we were looking at the mice, one of them was eating the bloody head off the other mouse whose body was no longer attached. I alerted an employee and they were right on it and fortunately my little girls didn't catch on. I however am scarred.

Anywho...after I dumped in a good 10 bucks of ingredients into my enormous pot. I grabbed a packet of red powder that I had gotten for 79 cents. But I had two packets of red powder in my cupboard, with half remaining labels. Which one is cayenne and which one is chili powder? I tasted them and think I added CAYENNE pepper INSTEAD of Chili powder...due to language issue from my middle eastern market. Or the fact that I really don't know what chili powder tastes like on my finger. So now I have a bowl of hot flaming chicken chili that no amount of sour cream will make me want to eat the whole thing. And could easier feed 8-10 ravishing adults. I ran out of time to make the cornbread. Good thing Jason doesn't like chili or chicken chili especially or cornbread. Yummy fire soup.

But its okay because Baylie dumped a bottle of eye makeup remover on my fabric couch and threw all her pears from the tray. And Darby's new fun game is making piles of crap out of every bin and toy in her room and then sitting in it. She must get that from her mother.

So give me no reassurance, just tell me some good news about yourself. I need to hear it. Right now I'm off to try and take a nap.

My good news: I consoled myself with lots of homemade toffee that my sister and mom had made. And if you have had it, that is really good news.

I'm going on vacation! ;)

But, as for your need to "create". I understand because I am driving Chris crazy with all my craft supplies!

More good news, Kirsten found an amazingly affordable craft table at IKEA. It has tons of cubby holes and then a lil' sewing/craft desk...

I think I may get one!

Good news, hmmm. I figured out a way to style my hair that looks semi decent so I can put off having it cut a little longer and not feel like a yeti. Sorry best I can do :)

Are you doing the 6 A Day Challenge right now? If not, my good news is a peanut butter/banana/Nutella sandwich. To make it truly effective, the banana MUST be between the PB and Nutella and you can't spread it on healthy bread. White bread only. Preferably with crusts trimmed off.

Oh - I like Hillary's good news. And chocolate is always good news :) And you're going to see Twilight for a girls night out on Friday night and that is good news. :)

I was going to make that recipe from Picky Palate, too. It looked good - but lots of ingredients.

I am scarred by your mouse story as well. Ewwww.

Call the missionaries. Those guys will eat anything. Good News? Tuesday was my birthday, but I'm not sure that's good news.
