And yes, the neighbor's large tree behind her is officially chopped down, along with the other two so good thing we had a last-day-of-shade party.

I saw that praying mantis when we were at your last playdate with shade. I don't think I had ever seen one in person. I'm a wimp. I didn't want to hold it or touch it, but the kids LOVED it! And yeah, Darby looks so HAPPY. I love capturing expressions like that on camera!
That was a rockin party you had. I forgot about the preying mantis. That was crazy! She is so brave.
Oh yeah, I had forgotten about the preying mantis. Darby looks so cute in that picture (in all pictures actually) Did the neighbors say why they were cutting down the trees? It really is so sad.
