dates and Jason

Do you ever impulse buy? Or buy 3 lbs (yes 3 lbs) of DATES when you are remembering the bacon-wrapped-dates from a party you went to only to have it not recreated quite the same at your home? Or your husband thinks they are nasty. This is a reason way Costco is not always the smartest purchase to satisfy a craving. Either way, I now have 2.9 lbs of dates.

Do you have any dates recipes? Are they interchangable with raisins? Help? Help?

On another note.

What do you do to entertain a 1 1/2 year old who is awaiting stitches?

Who is already been at the doctor for a few hours and your bag of tricks is used up?

Well that is when Daddy comes to the rescue. And turns into Mr. Funny-man.

Thank you for showing up without me having to ask you. And for making Baylie laugh.

Yeah, these are priceless.

I'm so glad that your little girl is okay. Are those the same faces Jason makes at Ward Council??

I love that Jason McCoy. Who knew he had all of that energy bundled inside of him...apparently TMA didn't bring it out in him. Those faces almost make the stitches worth it. Please print those so that when you throw Jason a surprise 40th birthday party you can put them on easels around the room.

Those pictures made Brenna laugh. Hilarious. Awesome that he saved the day and let you take the picts of him too. I am sure Paula Dean has a good date recipe. I have never bought dates, not too sure what ya do with them besides make cookies.

It's so fun to hear from you all!! You have such a beautiful family...and I am so sorry about stiches. I have had NO encounter with stiches and I never want to! You are brave, I would have passed out! Jason still looks the same - LOL :) and you still look just like you did when we were neighbors 7? 8? years ago!

I thought my post didn't make it, so I tried to remember what I said and posted it again, and then I scrolled down to the bottom and there was my original and the second one. I AM A DORK!! I am still getting used to this bloging thing. Sorry!

Priceless doesn't even begin to describe how funny those pictures are of Jason! That is AWESOME! Hilarious! And, on another note, I know nothing about dates. In fact, I don't think I ever even eaten one.

those dates look like a bowl of roaches! Needless to say, yucky! (Ya, I'm like 2 with the yucky comment)

The only solution I have for all those dates is chop them up and put them in a salad (like you would with craisins or some other fruit). Or snack on them. I love dates... bring em over! :)

Jason is funny! What a good dad.

I am so glad that someone else thought those dates were a bowl full of roaches. Anything that looks like a roach is disgusting. And, seeing those pictures of Jason just confirms how perfect he is for you because I think I have seen those crazy faces on your face before. :)

I love the pics of Jason and I am with Jason on dates. I don't know what you would use them for. I had a date shake in palm springs it wasn't that bad maybe you could try somethng like that.

hey. i'm still learning how to eat on the costco meal plan. i'm not used to buying in bulk...it's almost painful to make sure you eat it all before the next trip.
