Which camp are you?

Revised addition: Okay, so Hillary says she hasn't quit? Well according to Whoopi on the View while I was folding my laundry she had conceded. It has become quite amusing to see them duke it out. I wonder what her people will do. What do you do when your favorite is out (Romney, not Hillary)? Two people remain, whose camp are you in?

Today I decided I need to go find a McCain sign for my yard. Gotta root for my team. I told you I wasn't cool people. I know its way cooler to be an Obama fan, and although I think he seems like a nice guy and his wife is not as plastic, I just can't vote for him. Even if I think its cool that he would be the first African American president. Not when he is the most liberal democrat and McCain is more moderate. Which is what I am. Not when I live in California. Even if I get ridiculed for it.

And so I think my life might be destined for nerdiness...for going against the norm. Like bringing my huge oversized Costco reusable bag to Ralphs and make them fill it up. But that is becoming cool now, so that is fun. I returned the ridiculous cardboard boxes that my kids Target hotdogs came in today that was so unnecessary. Big fat nerd. I must recycle. I think I might write ole' Target a letter, because I must be a valued customer with that $70 I spend every time I go there. Or is that everyone? And tell them to easy up on their cardboard waste. You can just give me the hotdog in a napkin. I'm going to buy the hotdog anyway, you don't need to lure me with the fancy box.

But back to the heated election.... I'm crossing my fingers for a good running mate, cause my McCain is getting old. And he might need it.

I'm with ya. McCain's not my favorite, but he'd be better than Obama.

I thought I heard Clinton said she'd be willing to be Obama's running mate. That kind of surprises me. They don't exactly "like" each other.

i'm thinkin a mccain romney ticket this november. i like mccain. he's middle of the pack and that's good. extremes one way or the other are not good. obama is way too liberal and so is his wife and they are elitist and not patriotic. can you tell i would never vote for obama? many people are fooled by his rhetoric and the fact that he's half african.
i want to recycle but it is such a pain here. utah is the first place i've lived where they do not have a recycle garbage truck. you have to haul it to the dump yourself if you want to recycle and the times that i have the big container was overflowing and i had to just put my cardboard on the ground next to it. it's like i wonder if they ever empty it and actually recycle any of it. utah needs to step up when it comes to recycling. i also think all stores should be like costco and not even give you bags. i try to reuse them but i never can reuse as many bags as they give me. the school collects them sometimes.
i don't think you're a nerd. maybe i'm more nerdy. i got rid of cable tv and it was partly b/c i was kind of addicted to watching foxnews. i love hannity and colmes and the oreily factor.

One of the ladies I work with thinks Obama is the anti-Christ. I think that's a bit extreme, but I'd never vote for him. It would take alot for me to vote for any Democrat. I would like to see a McCain/Romney ticket, but I'm not holding my breath. On the Today Show this morning, they said if Obama doesn't chose a woman, McCain might. I don't know who that would be. They think it would help him win over Hillary supporters.

Hooray for nerdiness! I use my reusable shopping bags at Wal-Mart. I don't like the way their people bag groceries, so I always do self check out even if I have to wait a little longer. It makes some people mad because I usually have so much stuff. It's not like it's an express lane. They'll just have to wait and be mad. I'm all for recycling too. I was irritated when Dothan stopped their curb side recycling. They have 3 collection sites you have to haul it to. Right now my dining room is overflowing with cardboard boxes, milk cartons, water bottles, and catalogs that need to go to recycling. I've tried to get them to stop sending me so many catalogs, but I haven't had any luck. I signed up for that service one of your friends talked about on her blog. When that didn't work, I contacted the companies myself. I'm still getting them. It's such a waste. Dothan is doing a trial curb side recycling in certain parts of the city to see if it would be worth it to bring it back. I wish I was in the trial area so they would pick up my stuff.

if you find a sign get one for me! i'd stick it on my car but, i'd probably get my tires slashed! if you want to totally be "nerdy" go join the the 2 old people that stand on the corner of laurel cyn. and ventura every friday night around 5:30 holding "support or troop" signs. on the other corner there are about 15 liberals with their "bring em home" signs playing their guitars and having a big love fest! i think about joining the old folks sometimes!

Hey crazy lady! Most people in the alcohol section won't even notice you at all! They have their mind fixed on other things:) Don't be shy about asking questions, and luckily if your cooking with it you generally can use the cheapest stuff. Like with my recipe it calls for white wine, the $2 bottle at Trader Joe's will work just fine!

Call me crazy, but I am still undecided, perhaps the VP picks will help sway me.

Go McCain. I need a bumper sticker. That is funny about target cardboard boxes. I don't think I have ever even thought about it when I have gone. Go you for being so environmentally friendly. All I think about when recycling is the homeless with shopping carts filled with water and milk jugs around my house.

I don't really like McCain either, but I would rather him than Obama. I too would love to see a McCain/Romny ticket.
You always call yourself a nerd, but you are far from it. I too love using my reuseable canvas totes for the grocery store.

brooke, what makes you say that Obama is the most liberal senator? I hear that a lot but is it really true? He's definitely liberal but "most liberal" may be a stretch. Check out this article- some food for thought
