I love Walmart

Just because I needed to remind myself what Walmart was like I drove out to Woodland Hills late late tonite which is like my go-to city at the moment. My little nook of LA is really good if you want to find a Kosher deli or Baklava , but doesn't have a Walmart.

The trip was sooo worth it. So cheap. Has everything. Way better than Target. I can buy knitting needles, a $5 pink shirt, snacks, sippy cup and house paint (not that I needed it) . I bought fabric there and saved myself a trip to the garment district with crazy (but cute) children. Pink satin and pink see-through sparkling material ...getting ready for Darby's birthday. And I saw they have a big canning section, bigger than anywhere else I have seen. They even had a water bath canner for $18. That is cheap. Now if only it was a super-Walmart.

And by the way I am back on track, thanks for the pep talk. No sweets today. I feel great even with a skipped workout. (Well I needed a shower, but other than that... )And I get what you are saying Heather about moderation, but can a cocaine addict have just a little coke? nope. Not that I really not any drug addicts, or I don't think I do. Hmmm...now I wonder. And cookies are my crack. Truly.

I was so happy when we got our Wal-Mart Supercenters. One Stop Shopping. I don't care if something's on sale at Winn-Dixie, I love only going to one store to get everything I need. I went to Target a few times when they first opened to see what all the hype was about. Now that the newness has worn off, I never go. Plus the traffic is horrible on that side of town.

I have to disagree. I hate going to wal-mart. I think it might just be our wal-mart because there is seriously ALWAYS over a 15 minute wait to get checked out. Multiple times i've had to call over managers to get more checkers. It drives me crazy. But, it is cheap, so what do i still do--go to wal-mart. Argh.

O.K. so I have never really gotten into the whole Walmart thing, their aisles are too narrow for starters.... I know, I know, just a crazy Brit.

That is awesome. If only my walmart weren't 3 stories and you had to take an elevator for everything that you want and wait forever for it. It is so nice. But I think I love most is just shopping without kids. B had many a tantrums in target today. So fun.

i like one stop shopping. here in utah they are all super centers so it's nice. i live within walking distance to a brand new nicer wal-mart but i still like target better b/c they have more cute stuff and clearance. i am trying to shop at my local wal-mart though b/c i am not tempted to buy cute extras and i don't have to waste expensive gas to get there and the tax dollars contribute to my community.
i will always love target and costco, i'm just not going as often.
i need to loose a few ponds too but i can't drop sweets all together or i'll just pig out later after starving myself. i am just trying to eat more balanced and not too much and exercise more and drink lots of water instead of milk or juice. i'm walking the kids to school and back and we try to play tennis together. well cory and i play while the kids play on the playground mostly.
