Friday

Saw this at my friends house last nite. Just my kind of humor, and love that she has it in her house! (its Jenn B for the Mint Canyonites)

Thursday I somehow had a good hour to myself that I wasn't planning on and went to Babies R Us. For as many children as I have, I have only been here a handful of times. I remember the first time before Luke, I wanted to cry the whole time trying to register cause it was so stressful and had to drive to Panorama City (the valley's equilvalent to the middle of nowhere) to get there. Now its just down the road and the funniest place ever. So much crap you don't need to buy with a bunch of good stuff that you really need. Its like they just prey on new parents fears. Plus would be ideal people watching.

I got shoes for $5 for Paisley there and a few newborn outfits for the first week...can't have a naked baby (crap is that word going to alert the googling predators, dang you creepy men searching the internet!) and its against my religion (its not really, just something funny Jason and I say to each other) to bring a new baby home from the hospital in a hand-me-down....wait, better go check that, might have already done it. Shoot! But generally speaking, each baby should have something that is just her own. After a bunch of girls nothing really lasts that long, plus she told me she needed some sunglasses so she'll be styling this summer. Ooh, I almost just typed her name in that last sentence. Not a secret if you ask me but not really somehow typing it makes it final. Still don't have to buy very much since the house is pretty much filled with pink. So I also got a pink plastic pool there for $7. Bring pink. Pinkalicious.

That sign makes me laugh. My MIL gave me one that says does running late count as exercise. I hope so cause that's most of my exercise this week.

We had fun seeing you guys on Wed.

Hey now! Where are all the wonderful pictures I took last night of you and Tina? Haha.... And I agree. New babies cannot come home in hand me downs. It's a good rule. I also always save the outfit they came home in. I just can't ever give them away.

Kate looked so goofy in her coming home outfit, we got this really cute yellow dress with tiny flowers in it before she was born and decided that would be her coming home outfit, it totally drowned her she was this petite 6lb 1oz baby, fun memory though.
