What I am Thankful For

If you have not seen this video, WATCH IT. Darling. And especially since we love Fiddler on the Roof....

I am thankful for my husband. He is quite great. He is a great baby rocker. He doesn't have too many flaws, its really sick actually. He shocked our old computer into another life, I am thankful he is smart like that.

Ten years in February. I am thankful he is going to stick with me no matter what. A bonus that he is so handsome too.

I am thankful that we have a few days off of school. School stinks...don't tell my kids that.

I am thankful for a really cute baby....the others are cute as well.

I am thankful for freaking awesome California weather.

I am thankful for other people's funny stories and other people's crappy stories, two of my favorite things.

I am thankful for low-carb Slimfast. Its nasty, but its quick and easy and hopefully will one day help me fit back into my pants. That and my gym membership.

I am thankful for our house. We love it.

I am thankful for all my daughters. We are sure going to have lots of fun together.

I am thankful for my son. He is a pretty cool dude. And is there nothing cuter than a 6 year old making goo goo gaa gaa noises to make his sister smile? He told me he is glad Paisley is in his room so that if there is an earthquake, he can protect her.

I am thankful for the church. Its true. I can feel it. I am thankful for those cute missionaries we are feeding on Friday. How they are always smiling.

I am thankful for the New Testament and Paul who we are reading about. He was pretty amazing that Paul. Pretty good missionary himself.

I am thankful for my brother.

I am thankful for smart girls who teach me how to sew better. And still think 11 p.m. isn't too late to come over.

I am thankful for my stupid hands. I learn so much from them, they teach me so much. My hands teach me to slow down and how to be patient. I need so much of my stubby hands.... cooking, cleaning, changing diapers, feeding, rocking, making lunches, and yet they totally poop out on me sometimes. The stop me in my tracks and laugh at my busy schedule I had planned.

But today I am thankful for FREE medicine and two extra shots this week to get my hands back in line. We got lots to do hands, you can't quit on me yet....lots more years left in you and you and me are a team! Now if only I could stop biting my nails...

I am thankful for permission to not be tough all the time.

I am thankful for wonderful parents. Who are still parenting me.

I am thankful for the most wonderful day of the year...black Friday. Shopping without children, I am salivating already. I could probably skip the turkey and just get to the shopping. Who knows, I may not return.

I am thankful for surprise visits from our closest friends. Nothing better.

I am thankful for really really really really cute bows. I will take pictures soon and show you how cute.

I am thankful for friends who do my kids hair before pictures and then let us use their car when we discover ours has died.

I am thankful for friends who are taking us in at Thanksgiving. And just making me bring the ham and the drinks...

Okay, now this is just ridiculously long.

But I am thankful to be a McCoy. It was an awesome family to marry into.

And I am thankful for sisters and sisters in law. If you don't have a sister, I will be your pseudo one, okay?
