For the Record...

Lest anyone be misguided into thinking I've turned into wonder woman as my previous post might suggest, I assure you I still lost my temper today and yelled too much. And didn't give my children enough veggies and let them watch too much TV.

Which is maybe why I do my dangest at family home evening and family scripture reading, to counter act the sometime crabby mother that I am. Cause sometimes I need some major counter acting. Also that I'm trying to prevent the poor decisions of my younger self by educating and preparing children more. Or at least here's to hoping that they are smarter than me, which seems to already be in play.

So this is just a clarification post. Just in case you started to doubt my normalcy. And were worried I was going to be translated and going to have to tie weights to my feet. Sadly it is still greatly in check. My list of needed self improvements is forever too long. With my lack of patience being number one. Especially in my cranky hormonally-trying to buy a house and not get ripped off but its going to suck out all our money-self. So don't worry.

One highlight in the day is that my children were awesome at the library, which was shocking and I'm going to try and not lose or ruin the 11 magazines (all for me!), 6 books (1 for me) and 1 movie that we checked out. And I sure do love that Knuffle Bunny. And the Pigeon who wants a puppy too. I'm must be feeling ambitious. Cause I made the best chocolate cake ever from my friend Misty...even though when I made its super ugly. But it is dang good. This baby told me it likes chocolate so I have to give her what she wants. We are already buds. But the best part it has coconut in it so Jason won't touch it and I HAVE to eat it myself. Okay, so I gave some away. The rest goes straight to this tush.

Yes, you are way to hard on yourself. Everyone has faults and you don't need to go listing them! I am glad you are making chocolate cakes. That is the joy of pregnancy...I think at least. You can eat whatever you want and its all good and I think it tastes better too. What a good idea to go to the library. I need to do that more.

Girl you are HILARIOUS! And I want some cake. But I don't like coconut either. But it does look yummy. And congrats on reading the BoM twice. That is totally awesome! I can't be that animated early in the morning.

Thank you thank you for babysitting for me in the midst of busyness. The cake was seriously soooo good. I couldn't believe how moist it was. And it wasn't too rich. I feel embarased to say I ate 1/2 of what you gave me in one sitting and then polished off the rest of this morning.
