Have you hugged your sister today?

I feel like gushing. This blurry picture is so cute to me. I love my sisters and am so glad my girls do to. There is no relationship like it. You don't even have to be related. Especially if your sisters are too far away or you only have a brother :)

Lately I have been really grateful for the women in my life. I really need them. They push me and support me and make my life much better. Especially when it feels like I have been more on the needy end than the helping end lately.

And in less than a week, I'll have a new little niece named Sadie, who I can't wait to meet. She is the luckiest girl already because she is getting two wonderful sisters. Am I a cheese ball or what?

I just read this quote and its so great and true. But I'm already lying cause its a churchy quote. Can't get away from the churchy stuff, sorry. Here it goes.

"As spirit daughters of our Heavenly Father, happiness is your heritage.

You are choice daughters of our Heavenly Father, and through the things you create and by your compassionate service, you are a great power for good. You will make the world a better place. Lift up your chin; walk tall. God loves you."

Coming from a family of all girls, I would have to agree the bond between sisters is amazing. I am close to all my sisters in different ways and I don't know what I would do without them. That being said I am far away from them and the sisters I have here are amazing and have made being away from my family barable. They have taken the place of my family at such occasions as Christmas, Thanksgiving and all the big holidays that meant so much to my family, in yet I have not been with them in many years for these holidays. So, I too thank the sisters who uplift, love and take care of me while I am so far from those who did it for so long...

Tanya, I love your comment. Brooke, I've always wanted a sister growing up and totally gave my parents grief about it. You're sooo lucky to have TWO! I love my brothers though and couldn't imagine life with out them. Saying that, I HOPE that I'll have a bonding friendship with my sister that's on her way. Which I was reminded that by the time she's in her twenties, I will be totally uncool and forty something. Cute post.

Oh man! Every once in awhile I'll see a pic of Darby and I'll think it looks so much like me it's scary.
