Taking Turns

Nothing stays the same for long. Especially at our house.
So, that Baylie girl, she is fit as a fiddle.
And only Luke was puking in the night and on all our furniture.
So there.
I think B sensed that her mom had a headache all day and sickies (or maybe it was psychological from Luke), but essentially it was not her turn to have a hard day. Pouring rain and sick kid = tv, movies, books, extra long naps, apple juice, toast and of course tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwiches. Love my Darby girl who can go find some food for herself in the fridge and just have me open the string cheese while I'm trying to tune out Backyardians.
But my favorite thing is how when I asked the kids if they wanted to watch Sound of Music, Luke said, "No, how about Seven Brides for Seven Brothers?" Thats my boy.

By the way, Luke is totally fine now, it was a one hit wonder in the night. poor kid. darby had the same thing on New Years Eve, which made it perfect that we went to bed early cause we were up in the night. But we are officially banned from my neice's 1st birthday celebration tomorrow just in case.

Glad to hear everyone's feeling better. Hopefully that'll be the end of the sickness.

That is awesome that Luke requested "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers." Carl would be so proud. He knows the songs better than I do.
