My day isn't complete without wiping down this messy face three times a day...
She's getting molars. the cuisine is mushed up shredded wheat...she did the mushing of it.

I'm so glad my girls are playing together now. Its so fun. And aren't plastic bins so fun too?

This picture is from a couple weeks ago...when Dallas spent the night at our house and then went to Luke's basketball game with us. What a great cheerleader. Isn't she cute?

Luke running in the game. This past game was his best ever. He just stuck close to the hoop and got the rebounds. He did great. True McCoy confession though, I think he likes baseball just as much...

Don't you love when they slap the other teams hands and say good game. Obviously Luke is one of the oldest on the team :)

Tips from a blabbermouth

1. If you are wondering if you should see the movie Made of Honor , do not go. It was stupid. Buts always fun to go to the Grove with girls, especially when I'm related to them all. We will miss you Tanner ladies.

My aunt and I are 0-2 after seeing the other terrible movie Absolutely Maybe. in February together. Wait we did see Lars this weekend so its 1-3 right?

I am no movie snob (Step Up 2) but write a decent movie will ya. I wished we would have seen
Son of Rambow so go see it or tell me if you want to come with me. I also rented Lars and the Real Girl which I thought was cute. The second half was better than the first. And Jason loved Iron Man which he said I am not the target demographic.

2. If you are wondering what to have for dinner and have eaten all your aunt's yummy leftovers, then you should call your friend Emily and casually ask her what she is cooking, because then she will invite you over and serve yummy panini's leftover from the baby blessing . And then the kids will even dance around for entertainment and you can hold a cute baby. Just a tip. Thanks!

3. If you are wondering which pants to buy...the smaller or the biggger ones, go with the smaller ones. Because if pants are loose on me I just think of how many more cookies I can eat (not that I do that anymore) so that they will fit me perfectly. Even though the Nike store lady might give you a strange look when you ask for the smaller size cause she thinks you are lying. But I really did have to use up that Nike gift card I had from the twice returned Nike shoes. I decided I love love love Nike plus, but my feet are not fond of their shoes and prefer Saucony instead.

4. If you are wondering where you camera is and think your blog is boring without new pictures, and are starting to freak out because you can't find it and don't want to admit to yourself that you might be that clueless to have lost it and it your mom's on loan...then take a big breath and look in the swimming bag with the swimsuits and sunscreen because, duh, of course its there.

Mother's Day is Upon Us

We had a fun weekend with my aunt and cousin sleeping on our couch...

My aunt is the only person in the whole world who looks like my mom and reminds me of her. She is great. And baked us fresh bread as well as babysat and spoiled us. My kids loved having them here.

My cousin is also going to be a first time mom in August and there is nothing so sweet (and slightly amusing to watch) as a first time mom. Its like ready or not, the baby is coming, but she will be fabulous.

Cause Mother's day is on Sunday and today is my last chance to think of an awesome mother's day bonanza for the blonde lady in Alabama named Nana.

Any ideas for moms? What are you doing for yours?
What are you requiring for yourself?

And I'm stumped on grandma's too. I have three of those.

Mother's day is a tricky thing. Should it be changed to womans celebration day? Cause thats really what it is.
... I find it ironic that some of the classiest ladies I know are not moms, but me, who is slightly imbalanced and messy has incredible fertility and a slew of children. (Okay, so is three actually a slew? For others yes, mormons, no. ) Or the fact that I totally lucked out and was naive enough to marry young and dumb. Honey, I mean dumb in a good way. :) But we all have a mother, am I right? Sometimes I want to remind the people who are scowling at me at the store that there mom had to take them to the store sometimes too ya know.

I thought I was pretty sneaky yesterday cause I signed up to feed the missionaries at church for Mother's day, knowing Jason will be cooking. Hopefully the kids will help. I'm not exactly sure what we will eat, but it better not be frozen pizza and hot dogs.

And I told him all I want for Mother's day is to sleep in....okay I'm lying, I'd also like to go get a pedicure too.

Not that you wanted to know anything more

I was double tagged so I better do it. Sometimes I just get tired of hearing about myself...I'm totally an open book so there isn't much mystery there.

2. Still send my kids to public school and make them share a room. And never tell them we were so rich...okay so that is just a theory cause they were definitely notice that mom dressed better and had cuter hair.
3. Pay for both sides of my family to have yearly family reunions. We never get to see each other. To Hawaii or Europe
4. Take my kids to a third world country to show them (and me) how lucky we are.

Five Places I have lived:

3. Assistant to a talent/literary manager
4. One month at a snow cone stand by Sams until the boss wanted me to go 'sell snow cones in GA with him" ....what???
